Two months before his birth, his father passed away, and when he was six years old, his mother also passed away. After his mother passed away, Prophet Muhammad [ sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ] was taken under the care of his grandfather, Abdulmuttalib.
Abdulmuttalib took great care of Prophet Muhammad [ sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ]. He never left him alone and made sure he did not feel the absence of a father's love and affection.
Before his death, Abdulmuttalib entrusted the care of eight-year-old Prophet Muhammad [ sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ] to his son, Abu Talib.
Abu Talib loved Prophet Muhammad [ sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ] more than his own children. He believed that he was blessed and made great efforts to raise him well.
Fatimah bint Asad ( radiyallahu anh ), whom the Prophet [ sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ] called his 'second mother,' cared for him more than her own children.
After prophethood, Abu Talib continued to support his nephew and did everything he could to protect him.
