The Prophet Muhammad sometimes wore a white turban and sometimes a black one. Occasionally, he would let one end of the turban hang down between his shoulders, and sometimes he would wear just a cap/kufi without the turban. On Fridays and Eid days, his turban was between 900 and 1080 cm in length, while on other days, it was between 525 and 630 cm.
He often applied fragrant oils to his blessed hair. To prevent the oil from staining his turban, he would place a thin cloth under it, and he would remove the cloth when the oil had absorbed into his hair. He did not like to pull out the white hairs from his hair and would only dye his hair with henna. His use of henna was for fragrance, to relieve headaches, and to show that using henna was permissible. As the most distinguished in cleanliness and beauty, his actions were meticulous, and his clothes were clean.
