Shama'il

Hind ibn Abu Hala, the stepson of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), described his appearance as follows:

"The Messenger of Allah was well-built and majestic. His face was bright like the full moon. He was of medium height, slightly tall, with a large head and slightly wavy hair. Sometimes, his hair reached past his earlobes.  His skin was bright and white, and his forehead was wide. His eyebrows were thin, curved like a crescent, and close together. His nose was slim with a slight curve. His beard was thick and full, and his cheeks were smooth. His body was well-balanced—neither too thin nor too heavy. His chest was broad, and his shoulders were wide. His joints were strong, his wrists were long, and his hands were large.

When he walked, he moved calmly but quickly and with dignity, as if going downhill. When he turned, he turned his whole body. When he was silent, he often looked down and seemed thoughtful. When walking with his companions, he let them go ahead and walked behind. He was always the first to greet people he met on the road."
